Although this part of my initial project was dropped out, I wished to share with you some information about phytoremediation, that is to use plants to depollute soil. I think this can be of general interest.
I have found a very nice guide here. It was developed by Urban Omnibus, "an online project of the Architectural League to create a new kind of conversation about design and New York City."
